Leveling up Armorer is much more expensive compared toother skills inOblivion Remastered, but thankfully, many tricks from the original game still work here. How to Level Armorer in Oblivion Remastered
Players can level up the Armorer skill byusing Repair Hammers on equipment. Every time you repair something, you’ll get some XP for your Armorer skill. It doesn’t matter if the item in question is broken or not —as long as it can be repaired, it will contribute to your Armorer skill’s progress.
You can find Repair Hammers randomly in the world, often as loot in chests and other containers, or found as physical objects in some areas. The best way to get Repair Hammers in bulk is to simply buy them from merchants. The Three Brothers Trade Goods shop in the Imperial City Market district has some hammers for sale, and so do most general goods stores and blacksmith shops around Cyrodiil.
How to Power Level Armorer in Oblivion Remastered
If you want to level up the Armorer skill fast inOblivion Remastered, you have a number of options to choose from. All of them do involve using Repair Hammers, and if you’re just starting out, you’re going to need a lot of them.
The first method is to simplypick up and repair equipment dropped by enemies. It’s a simple thing to do, but it’s very easily overlooked. It is also very inefficient when it comes to Repair Hammer usage, but if you purchase enough hammers with the express purpose of leveling up Armorer, then this will be worth it.
Another method is tofire a bow once and repair it. Every time you shoot an arrow, your bow will lose durability, giving you the opportunity to repair it and earn Armorer XP. This is very slow, however, and it’s only recommended if you want to squeeze a little bit of XP to reach the next level.
If you truly want to get Armorer as quickly as possible with just one Repair Hammer, you need to beable to get spellsor create custom spells with theDisintegrate Armoron Self and Fortify Armorer effects. Get versions of these spells with low Magicka costs, then do the following:
When creating custom spells, make a Fortify Armorer spell that raises your skill to 100 for just 1 second. This minimizes the Magicka cost while still letting you repair items with 100 Armorer skill. When Armorer is maxed out, yourRepair Hammers will never break.
Alternatively, you’re able to just find a group of enemies and let them beat you until your gear breaks. If your armor is tough enough, you’ll be able to absorb most of the incoming damage, and in case your health does go low, you can just heal back with magic or items. Then, repair your gear normally.
