InThe Precinct, patrol officers' lives are far from routine, and handling multiple arrests in a single shift requires strategy, awareness, and a cool head under pressure. When a scene escalates and several suspects are involved, it’s not simply a matter of rounding them up, and each arrest must be clean toearn the maximum amount of XPat the end of the shift.
When players have more than one person to chase, things can get chaotic fast. While the game doesn’t fault them completely if one or more suspects get away, the best way to progress in the storyline is to arrest all the suspects using the right force and charges. So, here’s how to arrest more than one suspect at the same time inThe Precinct.
How to Make Multiple Arrests in The Precinct
Duringtheir shifts, players have a designated patrol area and objectives they must complete for rewards. However, due to the constant changes in the world inThe Precinct,it feels dynamic, and players will run into all sorts of crimes. Occasionally, two or more people will beinvolved in an altercation or commit a crime, and once players make their appearance known, suspects will either turn themselves in, flee, or attack.
Tips for Arresting Multiple Suspects in The Precinct
The best way to handle multiple targets is for players to restrain one and then chase after the others. When chasing two or more suspects, focus on restraining rather than completing the arrest. Players can call backup to maintain control over a hectic scene. Additionally, players should ensure they are equipped with lethal andnon-lethal weapons. If players accidentally shoot a suspect when lethal force isn’t required, they are forced to reload and lose XP. So, even if a suspect pulls a gun, they can surrender at any point, and players need to take them in rather than harm them.
Players must pursue suspects who run, and stamina drains quickly, so if players are trying to subdue more than one person, it can be chaotic, especially if they have weapons. Make sure toincrease stamina using Upgrade Tokensfrom the stat menu.
When trying to arrest six or more suspects in one shift to earn the “We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Holding Cell” achievement, it is good to rely on police escorts rather than taking them in personally.
Jobs with more suspects always result in more XP, so it isn’t all bad whenever players come across multiple vandals. Workingpast the end of a shiftis allowed and sometimes necessary when aiming for in-game milestones. Arrested suspects require processing:
Multiple arrests inThe Precinctare less about brute force and more about orchestration. Any misstep, like failing to recite rights or assigning a false charge, can result in XP penalties and damage to the player’s reputation. Players do have a patrol partner, but Kelly isn’t always the most helpful when it comes to pursuing criminals.
