How to Play the Tomb Raider Games in Chronological Order
InTomb Raider,there are three different eras — each with its own set of games. Theclassic erafeatures the original six games with the iconic Lara Croft; theLAU era(Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld); and, last but not least,thenew survivor eragames, featuring a young Lara Croft.
The new survivor era features what appears to be a fresh start/new timeline to the franchise. So, despite the fact thatthey feature a younger Lara, you do not need to play the classic and LAU era games to be able to follow and enjoy the survivor era games, and you’re able to instead play them last, as they are a reboot. However, if you’d like to begin with them, or even choose to only play the new era titles, this is also fine — it won’t really affect the rest of the timeline as long as you play classic era then LAU.
