What Is Tycoon Express in Monopoly GO?
The Tycoon Express is a seasonal race designed to add another layer of persistent progression and competition toMonopoly GO. The entire feature is themed around the idea of riding a luxury train. You’ll progress through increasingly fancy “cabins” as you play and progress.
You can advance along the train tracks and upgrade your cabin byplaying in Tournamentsand collecting"Train Coins.“Instead of just participating in individual daily events, your efforts will contribute to a longer-term journey on the train. The more you play and earn, the further along the train you’ll go.
As you upgrade to plusher and more extravagant cabins,the rewards you receive will also get better and shinier. The rewards can include moreMonopoly GOdice rolls, higher-value sticker packs, flash boosters, cash, and even exclusive collectibles.
Each time anew Album starts inMonopoly GO, a new Tycoon Express will depart.Everyone will start fresh at the beginning of each season. This also means that when a new train begins, your progress from the previous season will not carry over.
How To Play Tycoon Express in Monopoly GO
At the time of writing, not all players have access to the Tycoon Express yet. It’s common for Scopely to test new features with a subset of the player base before a wider release.
If you’re one of the lucky few who have this feature, you may make the most of the Tycoon Express by participating in the daily tournaments. Your performance in these tournaments will earn you Coins specifically for the Tycoon Express event. Reaching a certain number of Train Coins will likely trigger an “upgrade” to the next cabin, unlocking the associated rewards for that tier and potentially setting a new target for the next upgrade.
