With so many levels to reach and so many skills to obtain and master inOblivion Remastered, some players might become concerned that they are investing in the wrong skills and attributes throughout their adventure. As such, it’s no surprise that some might question whether or notOblivion Remasteredfeatures the option to respec skills.
The ability to respec inOblivion Remasteredis quite simple, but platform-specific. While everyone might want to respec their skills, this mechanic is unfortunately tied to the console commands, meaning there is no way to respec skills and attributes on PlayStation and Xbox, but PC playersare in luck.
How to Respec in Oblivion Remastered
The only way players can respec skills inOblivion Remasteredis through the use ofconsole commands, which are only available on PC. Players will want to hit either the ~ or ` key to activate the console, and then they will ned to type the following:player.setav [attribute/skill] number]
Once players have typed player.setav, they can type in the skill or attribute they want to change, and then the number they wish to set it to. If players want to respec, then they can check their attribute stats in the character menu sheet and then manually set the numbers themselves. For instance, if players have 30 Strength and 70 Personality, then they can decide to enter player.setav strength 70 to increase Strength, and make it fair by lowering personality through player.setav personality 30.
