How to Unlock the Clock Tower Floorplan in Blue Prince
The Clock Tower is an Unusual Room that only has one door (i.e., it is a dead end). Therefore, you should think carefully before drafting it in your runs, as it can havea potentially negative effect on your map. The room costs 1 gem and gives you 1 key for every Tomorrow Room drafted in the manor, making it a great way to prep for the future (though maybe not as great for your current run).
To unlock the Clock Tower, you first need to get the Drafting Studio (2 gem cost) into your manor. Once inside this room, go to the table, where you will see a selection of three floorplans that you can choose from. If you’re lucky, you’ll find the Clock Tower. If you don’t, you’ll need to find the Drafting Studio again some other time to have a chance at obtaining it.
Hints for Unlocking and Solving the Clock Tower Puzzle in Blue Prince
At first glance, there’s nothing much going on in the Clock Tower. However, taking a closer look, you’ll realize that there aretwo different large clocksat the top of the tower. One of them is working andtelling you the current time, while the other one is stuck at precisely 1:30 PM. To start the puzzle, you need to reach the Clock Tower before 1:30 PM, meaning you’ll have almost 30 minutes to reach there from the start of the run (each in-game hour translates to about 5 minutes in real time, and you start at 8:00 AM).
Stay in the room until the clock hits 1:30 PM, and you’ll see a secret door open at the base of the tower. If you’re late, you have no choice but to try again the next day. Once inside the secret room, you’ll encounter eight grandfather clocks, each with a note that gives you a hint to solve the puzzle. Here are some more hints to help you along the way:

Using the eight clues given to you via the notes on the grandfather clocks, you can deduce the solution. Here’s what the final result should look like:
After solving the puzzle, the fifth grandfather clock will reveal a drawer at the bottom, which willgive the player a Sanctum Key. This is the third one that was “high up, among all the clocks,” according to the note found in Room 46.
