Asspotted by GamesRadar+, news about Hollow Knight: The Sanctuary has appeared online. Thanks to a series of tweets from Stizzl, one of the leading modders, fans can take solace in knowing the project is still alive and in development. “A secret, well-kept over the years: The Sanctuary is alive,” the modder said. In addition, they shared a brief clip of the mod’s gameplay, with the Knight fighting several enemies in the new area.

Besides confirming the mod’s continued existence, a call for playtesters was made. Thanks to the enduringpopularity ofHollow Knight, these positions were filled quickly, with Stizzl thanking the community for its continued support. While not everyone could become a playtester due to limited spots, the modder promised that more news about The Sanctuary would be coming in the weeks ahead.

This development update for The Sanctuary has excited many fans, some of whom had started to doubt the project was still alive. Among the enthusiastic responses,Matthew Griffen, in charge ofmarketing and publishing forHollow Knight: Silksong, shared Stizzl’s original tweet and revealed his excitement about the “epic” mod.
