Are Ifa Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
In short, no - unless aiming for the 5-star in the banner. As a 4-star character, Ifa’s constellations are far more accessible than those of 5-star units, making him a relatively low-investment option for players looking to refine his kit. F2P players may find his constellation upgrades easier to obtain, especially if they are already pulling for the 5-star character featured on his banner or don’t mind obtaining his constellations overtime through the standard gacha pool. That being said, Ifa is perfectly fine at C0, and players who simply want to have him without investing further won’t miss out on his core functionality. His base kit already providesstrong Swirl application, team utility, and healing, meaning constellations are more of a bonus than a necessity.
If players are considering constellation investment, C2 is generally the best stopping point, as it strengthens his passive buffs and improves team damage output for Swirl and Electro-Charged oriented teams. Higher constellations, while beneficial, require a deeper commitment that may not be worth the gacha risk if players aren’t interested in the featured 5-star unit.
Those saving for other characters may find it more practical to hold off, ensuring they don’t disrupt their pity count for future banners. While this effect has an 8-second cooldown, meaning it won’t drastically change his energy management, it does help ensure consistent Burst uptime. Given that Ifa’s Elemental Burst has a relatively low energy cost, this constellation allows him to activate his Burst every rotation without needing to heavily invest in Energy Recharge stats.
However, for players running double Electro teams, this constellation becomes less necessary, as Electro units and resonance typicallyprovide battery utility. Especially in such a team composition, C1 is more of a convenience rather than a necessity, making it a situational upgrade rather than a must-have.
C2 - Guiding Spirit of Ballistic Prayer
When Ifa is in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, every Nightsoul point the party has above a total of 60 will grant Ifa 4 additionalRescue Essentialspoints.
Priority
Ifa’s second constellation enhances his A1 Passive, increasing the damage of Swirl and Electro-Charged reactions while he isin Nightsoul Stateby both providing additional points, but also by increasing the stacking amount of Rescue Essentials. From a team utility perspective, this is his strongest constellation, as it directly boosts reaction-based damage, benefiting both Ifa and his teammates. If the team primarily consists of Natlan characters who tend to have high Nightsoul points for the most part, players will see even more value from this constellation than otherwise.
For F2P or low-spending players, C2 is an excellent stopping point, as it provides significant team-wide value without requiring further investment. Those who don’t plan to pull for limited characters on his debut banner can comfortably stop at C2, ensuring they still get strong reaction buffs for the team without committing to higher constellations.
C4 - Decayed Vessel’s Permutation

Additionally, Ifa gains 100 Elemental Mastery for 15s after using his Elemental BurstCompound Sedation Field.
High
Ifa’s fourth constellation improves his elemental driving capabilities, ensuring that Swirled elements remain on enemies for 3 extra seconds after using his Burst. This extension allows longer reaction windows, making it easier for team members to capitalize on Swirl or Electro-Charged interactions. Additionally, since Ifa’s Burst pulls enemies together, this constellation enhances crowd control, keeping enemies grouped for longer durations, as otherwise the Elemental Burst only pulls them for a short moment once activated.
Beyond reaction consistency, C4 also grants Ifa an additional 100 Elemental Mastery, whichdirectly improves his Swirl damageand healing output as they both scale through his Elemental Mastery. Overall, not as impactful as his second constellation but still provides some team-wide utility.
When Ifa uses the Hold version of hisSupporting Fire, there is a 50% chance that he will fire an additional Tonicshot that deals 120% of Ifa’s ATK as Anemo DMG. This DMG is considered Normal Attack DMG.
Additionally, when he is not in combat, Ifa will consume 20% less Nightsoul points and Phlogiston in his Nightsoul’s Blessing state.

Ifa’s sixth constellation helps with his own DMG, granting a 50% chance to fire an extra, stronger bullet when using the Hold version of his Elemental Skill. While this effect adds extra damage, it less impactful compared to his earlier constellations which brings team wide utility.
Additionally, C6 reduces Nightsoul point consumption by 20% while exploring, allowing longer flight durations outside of combat. This makes C6 particularly useful for playerswho prioritize exploration, especially those who don’t have Chasca or Mavuika. Nevertheless, while C6 is a decent upgrade, it is not as important as C2 or C4, making it more of a luxury constellation rather than a core improvement.
