After defeating the two Axons inClair Obscur: Expedition 33, players can finally approach the Monolith at the north end of the Continent. Players who visit this area will ultimately reach the Inside the Monolith map, which is home to various weapons, Pictos, and collectibles. This guide details the location of all those items, and it will help players make the most of their time inside the Monolith inClair Obscur: Expedition 33.
This guide does not highlight every Chroma pickup inside the Monolith.
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 - Inside the Monolith 100% Guide (All Collectibles, Weapons & Pictos)
Lanceram (Weapon)
Follow the critical path beyond the Entrance expedition flag to reach a waterfall. The Nevrons standing at the base of the waterfall award theLanceramweapon when defeated.
Colour of Lumina
There is aColour of Luminaon the ground by the enemies that award the Lanceram.
Revive Tint Shard
Continue past the waterfall and follow the path to the left just before reaching the next expedition flag. Descend two gold threads to reach an area with a Paint Cage. Break the container’s three locks to transform it into aRevive Tint Shard.
Cleansing Tint (Pictos)
Pass the Tainted Meadows flag and cross the bridge to the left to enter an area with Eveque, a large Nevron. Defeat the enemy to earn theCleansing TintPictos.
ThisLumina Point-granting item is on the ground in the area in which Eveque is fought.
Go to the edge of the cliff to the left of Eveque’s position and follow the descending slope to find a Colour of Lumina.
Brulerum (Weapon) & Cruleram (Weapon)
As players follow the critical path beyond the Tainted Meadows expedition flag, they will enter an area with bubbles. There is a Nevron in this area that awards theBrulerumandCruleramweapons when defeated.
Merchant
There is a narrow corridor on the left side of the area with the weapon-granting Nevron, and it leads to a merchant that sells a variety of items, including theEnergising CleansePictos, theFragaroweapon, and theVeremumweapon.
Chroma Catalyst
Stick to the left side of the area with bubbles to find aChroma Catalyston the ground.
Bourgelon (Weapon)
Pass the Tainted Waters expedition flag and follow the path to the left. There is a path on the left, which leads through some foliage, that can be used to reach theChromatic Bourgeon. Defeat this Nevron to earn theBourgelonweapon.
Stay Marked (Pictos)
TheStay MarkedPictos is on the ground where the Chromatic Bourgeon stood.
There is a large anchor in the center of the area beyond the Tainted Waters expedition flag, and there is aweapon upgrade materialbehind that object.
Go to the right side of the area that is beyond the Tainted Water expedition flag and enter the alcove that is found there. Crawl through the bars in that alcove to access an area with crates and barrels. A Colour of Lumina is on top of those objects.
Just after passing the Tainted Sanctuary expedition flag, go right at the fork to enter an alcove with a Colour of Lumina.
Sakaram (Weapon)
As players follow the critical path beyond the flag, they will run into two enemies that award theSakaramweapon when defeated.
Climb the slope beyond the Sakaram-awarding enemies and look left to find a Colour of Lumina.
Follow the critical path to reach the area with the Ultimate Sakapatate. Use the path on the right side of the area to move around a rock formation. A Chroma Catalyst is on the ground on the far-right side of that formation.
Trebuchim (Weapon)
Pass through the area with the Ultimate Sakapatate and go left at the fork to crawl into an area with a Paint Cage. There is a Nevron in this area that awards theTrebuchimweapon when defeated.
Random Defense (Pictos)
Break the three locks at these positions to transform thePaint Cageinto the Random Defense Pictos:
There is a Chroma Catalyst at the top of the stairs beyond the Tainted Cliffs expedition flag.
Chation (Weapon)
Follow the critical path and look for a group of three Nevrons on the right. These enemies award theChationweapon when defeated.
Energising Pain (Pictos)
Players can earn theEnergising PainPictos by defeating the two Nevrons that are along the critical path, near the enemies that award theChation weapon.
Petank
After receiving Energising Pain, follow the path to the right to encounter aPetank. The illuminated spot that traps the Petank is near to where the three enemies that grant Chation stood, and players will need to use Free Aim to defeat this foe.
There is a Colour of Lumina behind the windmill that is next to the Petank’s initial position.
Voluminous (Haircut)
Pass the path that was used to reach the Petank and go left after running into the side of a cliff to find a gold thread. There is a mime at the bottom of that thread that awards theVoluminous haircut for Maelle.
Weakness Gain (Pictos)
Continue along the critical path to reach an area with three enemies, including a large crystal Nevron. TheWeakness GainPictos is on the ground next to the rock formation to the right of those foes.
There is a Chroma Catalyst just right of the Tainted Battlefield expedition flag.
Immediately after crossing the bridge beyond the expedition flag, fall to the right to find a Colour of Lumina.
Troubadim (Weapon) & Longer Shell (Pictos)
Defeat the Nevron that is just beyond the Tainted Battlefield expedition flag to receive the TroubadimTroubadimweapon andLonger ShellPictos.
Ramasson (Weapon)
Descend the cannon and defeat the Nevron on the left to receive theRamassonweapon.
At the bottom of the cannon, follow the path to the right to find a Colour of Lumina.
Continue to the far end of the battlefield and climb the slope on the left to reach a Colour of Lumina.
L’Amour D’une Mere (Record) & Aline (Journal)
Players will run into a grave after leaving the battlefield, and there is a path to its left. That path leads to an entrance to the Manor’s greenhouse, and there is amusic recordand journal entry to be found there.
Cross the bridge that is beyond the Tainted Hearts expedition flag and immediately go left to enter an area with Gargant, a large Nevron. There are handholds on the wall to the right of that foe, and they lead to a merchant that sells a variety of items, including theGreater DefencelessPictos, theGarganonweapon, and aHealing Tint Shard.
Enfeebling Attack (Pictos)
TheEnfeebling AttackPictos is on the ground just past the merchant, next to a wrecked train.
Empowering Parry (Pictos)
Return to the area with Garant and follow the path to the left to reach a Paint Cage. Break the three locks to transform the cage into theEmpowering ParryPictos.
Braselim (Weapon)
Continue along the critical path to reach three Nevrons standing in front of an arch. Go left before those enemies to access a path that leads to three Nevrons. Defeat them to receive theBraselimweapon.
Colour Lumina
Now pass under the arch and look left to find a Colour of Lumina.
Perilous Parry (Pictos)
Descend the stairs that are beyond the Tainted Lumiere expedition flag and defeat the enemies on the left to obtain thePerilous ParryPictos.
Recoat
Now continue forward and check the alcove on the left to find aRecoat.
Continue along the critical path and stick to the left side in the next city section. There is an alcove with a harp there, and there is a Colour of Lumina on the ground.
Enter the area with the flower stalls and go to the back-right corner to find a path with a Colour of Lumina.
Journal 70
Use the grapple point that is beyond the Colour of Lumina to access a path that leads to thisjournal entry.
There is a Colour of Lumina on the ground past Journal 70.
Advance through the flower stall area and pass through the corridor at the end. Go left immediately upon exiting, and ascend the small staircase on the left to access a path that leads to a Colour of Lumina.
Dreameso (Weapon) & Breaking Attack (Pictos)
Drop off the ledge near the Colour of Lumina and use the grapple point to cross the gap. Climb the small staircase to reach the Clair Obscur Nervron and defeat it to receive theDreamesoweapon andBreaking AttackPictos.
Lithelim (Weapon)
TheLithelimweapon is on a table just past the Clair Obscur foe.
Return to the tunnel that you exited after passing through the flower stall area, but go right this time. Follow the path to reach two Nevrons. There is a Chroma Catalyst on the ground beyond those enemies.
Beat Renoir to obtain theSecond ChancePictos and Renoir’s Suit forVerso.
Beat the Paintress to receive thePainted PowerPictos.
Combo Attack II (Pictos)
After beating the Paintress, return to the arena in which you fought her to encounter Chromatic Clair Obscur. Beat the Nevron to obtain theCombo Attack II Pictos.
