According to thedeveloper’s Steam page, the update, which would focus on adding improved emotions to the game, will be late to “prioritise quality over speed.” Soon after the most recent update, InZOI Studio recognized that it needed more time to polish these mechanics, as some unintended side effects have appeared in the emotions system. The upcoming update will also include the eagerly awaited modding system. After the update, gamers will be able to upload a mod to CurseForge and install it via the in-game browser, which will make it easier for the community to create and share mod content. It was not revealed, however, if this delay will impact the rest of the road map for futureInZOIupdates.

Despite this delay, InZOI Studio has generally been able to put out regular updates for the popular life sim.
