Thankfully, Krafton stepped in withInZOIin March 2025, receiving largely positive reviews from both players and critics. Although the game is still in early access, Krafton continues to add new features and content via a steady stream of updates, with the next patch officially set for later this month.
InZOI Shares New Mod Kit Preview
Following the release of numerousnew content updates forinZOI, Krafton is now gearing up to add official mod support to the game. In a newblog poston the game’s official website, Krafton gave fans a preview of the new mod kit tool and confirmed it would be launching via the Epic Games Store in “late May.” Players will be able to download officialInZOIassets, such as furniture or clothing, to allow for easy customization and adjustments. Krafton has also confirmed that official plugins for both Maya and Blender will be provided to make it easier to create 3D assets.
InZOI’s mod kit will also come with full CurseForge integration, which will allow creators to upload their completed mods to the site. Fellow players will then be able to easily search for and download mods via the in-game CurseForge interface. With competitorThe Sims 4already having many mods available via CurseForge, it’s no surprise that Krafton is aiming for full integration with the site to make the process as easy as possible for players.
While Krafton has already shared thefull post-launch roadmap forInZOI, the studio has now shared a second roadmap dedicated to new modding updates. The first update will officially arrive later this month, with all of the aforementioned details, followed by a second update in September and a third in December. Fans can look forward to further modding expansions, with the second update set to include character features such as faces and hair, as well as architectural elements like doors, fences, pillars, and windows. The update will also allow modders to create interaction-based content like conversations, voice, rewards, and motion.
As for the December update, Krafton says this is when “most outfits” will become moddable. The update will also allow modders to edit interaction scripts and access localization tools, allowing for “deeper and more diverse content.”
