The Darnell Bros. Garment Factory is one of many purchasable properties inGrand Theft Auto Online, but its expensive price tag has put some players off. Not all businesses inGTA Onlineare created equal, so newer players may not be as willing to fork over millions of dollars on something they may not even enjoy.
Introduced in the Agents of Sabotage update forGrand Theft Auto Online, the Garment Factory allows players to participate in the FIB Files. These are a series of unique missions with varying payouts. They’re not quite as extensive as full-blown heists, but they’re larger in scope than regular contact missions. The Garment Factory serves other purposes, too, and someGTA Onlineplayers will appreciate the quality of life upgrades that the property offers.
How to Make Money With the Garment Factory
Unlike most of the businesses inGrand Theft Auto Online,which build up passive income in the background or allow players to sell goods for huge sums of cash, the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory unlocks a series of mini-heists called theFIB Files.These are most similar to the Auto Shop robberies introduced in the Los Santos Tuners update or theSalvage Yard robberiesfrom the Chop Shop update.
There are four FIB Files to complete, each with their own series of free roam setup missions and a finale where everything comes together. Occasionally, some FIB File robberies will be marked as Priority Files, and these will reward players with double the standard payout upon completion. The FIB Files are the main way to make money with the Garment Factory inGTA Online, so knock out the Priority File whenever one is available and grind away at the other jobs whenever you can.
Is the GTA Online Garment Factory Worth Buying?
While the FIB Files are enjoyable,it’s not recommended forGTA Onlineplayers to purchase the Garment Factory until they already have a solid set of businesses.Other properties, likebunkersoroffices, offer more substantial revenue streams and even some passive income that players can rely on while completing other missions. The Garment Factory does offer passive income, but it’s negligible. TheFIB Files are the main draw of the Garment Factory, so unless you really want to grind them over and over, your money is better spent elsewhere first.
VeteranGTA Onlineplayers should absolutely purchase the Garment Factory, however. The Agents of Sabotage update has some of the best contentGrand Theft Auto Onlinehas seen in quite some time, and the FIB Files regularly have boosted rewards for players to enjoy during some weeks. It’s a nice change of pace from grindingGTA Onlineheistsover and over again.
