Gunn, who directedSuperman, promoted the movie on Twitter. He shared the trailer and encouraged fans to watch it in Theaters and IMAX on July 11. In the comment section, someone asked the filmmaker if he had any updates onWonder Woman. Gunn gave a direct response. It was not much, but he confirmed that they were making progress and it was “encouraging.” However, they were just not ready to share it with the public. Here’s Gunn’s short but meaningful response:

According to him, Gunn and Safran had a 10-year plan around DC and they would focus on the bankable superheroes from DC Comics, which included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl. However, there’s no concrete detail aboutBatmanandWonder Woman.

Although Gunn didn’t share too much, his update was enough to stir excitement amongWonder Womanfans.
