Gege Reveals Who The Second-Biggest Threat To Sukuna After Gojo Was

Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Were The Biggest Threats

Jujutsu Kaisenrecently had an exhibition event where the author answered some of the most exciting questions about the final segment of the story. Naturally, since the battle vs Sukuna was held here, the author especially focused onthe fight between Gojo and Sukuna. Gege has revealed a lot of interesting things, such as the final blow that Sukuna delivered to Gojo, and also who the biggest threat for Sukuna after Gojo was.

When compared to regular sorcerers, Sukuna was on another level alongside Gojo, so much so that any other character seems irrelevant when compared to them. There are a few fighters aside from Gojo who have stood out in the last arc, however, and based on what Gege showed the fans, the biggest threat to Sukuna after Gojo was none other than Yuji Itadori, and Gojo’s protege, Yuta Okkotsu

Turn up the volume!! Because this is a funeral for the living!!

When it comes to the second biggest threats to Sukuna, the answer is a bit complicated. Fans know for a fact that Sukuna wasn’t easy to defeat, but after Gojo, only two cane close. The first one is Yuta Okkotsu, who could’ve finished the battle vs Sukuna on two occasions. The first time was in his domain, Authentic Mutual Love, where all that was needed to win was for Megumi to extend a hand to Yuji. Megumi didn’t want to do so, so Sukuna retaliated and Yuta lost. The second opportunity that Yuta had was after he switched to Gojo’s body. Utilizing Toge’s Cursed Speech, Yuta had the perfect opportunity to end the fight with a Hollow Purple from close range. Unfortunately for him, he couldn’t control Hollow Purple properly and although it hit Sukuna, the lack of control and power ensured it failed.

The other biggest threat was Yuji Itadori. It is no surprise that Yuji was a big threat, given that he gained multiple powers in the Shinjuku Showdown arc. He started off with Reverse Cursed Technique, to Blood Manipulation, thanks to help from Choso, all the way to Shrine Cursed Technique, and eventually, Domain Expansion. Yuji’s Black Flashes also caused problems for Sukuna, and in the end, it was Yuji Itadori who defeated the King of Curses.
