What many fans are excited about right now isthe newestJujutsu Kaisenmovie, which is releasing very soon. It’s releasing on May 30 in Japan, and in July in North America.

This movie will cover the contents of the first half of Season 2, specifically the arc with Gojo’s backstory, also known as Hidden Inventory/Premature Death. To be specific, this movie doesn’t exactly offer any new content. The scenes won’t even be reanimated. So, fans should definitely keep this in mind when it comes to this movie.

Gojo’s Voice Actor Says He Wouldn’t Mind if JJK Series is Adapted Into a Movie After

To advertise this new movie,Gojo’s voice actor, Yuichi Nakamura, was answering a few questions. Most fascinatingly, he revealed during this interview that he would not mind if theJujutsu Kaisenseries was adapted into just movies in the future instead of anime seasons. This definitely came as a shock to many people. While some are happy, many wouldn’t like solely movies to adapt the series, as it doesn’t allow for enough time to truly adapt the manga without cutting important scenes. Here’s what Yuichi Nakamura said exactly:

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if the whole series was just made into movies at this point (laughs) — Yuichi Nakamura
