Now Bandai Namco has confirmed that fans can look forward toKakarot’sDragon Ball DaimaDLClaunching on May 23, 2025. With a full title of “Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm,” the DLC will takeKakarotplayers throughDragon Ball’s latest and most unusual anime spin-off,Dragon Ball Daima. As per the show, theDaimaDLC will give players control of de-aged, kid versions of Goku and his friends as they journey through the fantasy-inspired Demon Realm on a new quest.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Daima DLC Launches on June 21, 2025
TheDragon Ball DaimaDLC forKakarotis actually a series of three separate packs.The firstDaimaDLC packlaunched on Jun 02, 2025, and mainly consisted of bonus items for players who purchased the season pass bundle. The July 17 release date is for Part 1 of Daima: Adventure Through the Demon Realm. Earlier leaks placed the release date between July and September 2025, but with a firm date set for part 1, it’s clear that fans won’t have to wait through the whole of the quarter to get theirDaimafix.
The second half of the DLC is expected in early 2026, which will give players plenty of time to get the most out of Part 1, or even pick up and start theDragon Ball Z: Kakarotbase game if they’re planning to pick it up based on their enjoyment ofDaimadirectly. While online reaction to Bandai Namco’s release date announcement was generally positive, a few criticized the company for “padding out” the release windows, allegedly to make less new content seem like more, thanks to the longer intervals between drops.
