One Piece Anime Has Been Marred By Controversies

Toei Animation Has Made Questionable Choices

The One Piece anime returned in April, and so far, all the episodes have had stellar animation. In fact, the quality of some can be compared to that of an anime film. While the animation has been immaculate, the anime has been lacking in other departments. The biggest issue that fans have with the anime is the addition of new scenes that affect a character’s reputation.Sanji was the most recent victim, and fans didn’t hesitate to let their feelings be known. However, things spiraled out of control, with many individuals harassing staff members and going after people who had nothing to do with the episodes.

Additionally, one of the animatorscriticized the sound team at Toei Animation, calling them unprofessional and asking them to be kicked out. Fans have also been complaining about the studio using outdated sound effects in episodes for months now. They strongly believe that the old sound effects do not fit in with the new animation. They were hopeful that the studio would resolve this issue during the break, but it seems the studio had other plans. If Toei Animation doesn’t resolve this problem in the coming months, it will certainly become a constant target.

Moving on to some good news, Lego recently gave Eiichiro Oda a copy of Luffy’s Devil Fruit. It was made out of Legos, and it likely implies that the release date of the collaboration isn’t far away. At the time of writing, it is unclear whatkind of Lego sets will be announced, but they will be focused on the different ships in One Piece.
