Players will have the opportunity to snag aPac-ManParty Doughnut, Strawberry Power Berry Doughnut, and Team Ghost Doughnut, with a special deal to get an Original Glazed dozen for just 25 cents with the purchase of aPac-Mandozen on the arcade legend’s official 45th birthday on May 22. Krispy Kreme is also aiming to give out 45,000 free Original Glazed doughnuts between May 12 and 18 during Hot Light hours. If players help to hit this “high score,” they can “unlock” the return of Krispy Kreme’s popular Strawberry Glazed Doughnut, as a nod to Pac-Man’s love of fruit. The arcade boxes housing the doughnuts will feature the iconic characters and the familiar pellets, which themselves will be featured as the classic Doughnut Dots are transformed into “Pac-Dots” from May 12 through 14. Players will have the chance to snag 10 free Pac-Dots with the purchase of any dozen doughnuts at regular price, giving them the opportunity to enjoy these pellets just like Pac-Man himself.
