Filming for thesecond season ofDaredevil: Born Againis already underway, which is expected to pick up from the tease setup by the end of season one, which sees Matt assembling a team to help fight Wilson Fisk’s control over New York as he looks to enact martial law. Fisk is also looking to eliminate any interference and utilizes an anti-vigilante task force to end masked heroes like Daredevil. Matt’s team is still largely unknown, but it is likely to include Karen Page and Frank Castle, depending on the story told in The Punisher’s special that is also in the works.
With Jessica Jones set to return, the superhero turned private eye will likely be a reluctant addition to the team, tending to prefer working alone. However, with Fisk pushing through his anti-vigilante agenda, numerous heroes are in jeopardy, and while Jessica Jones doesn’t don a mask, she is known to fight crime, putting her well under Fisk’s scrutiny. Luke Cage and Iron Fistmay be added toDaredevildown the road, with the series potentially testing the waters with Jessica Jones, as her series tended to be more well-liked than the other two.
