While the game has received lots of post-launch patches, one of the biggest was its Version 2.0 update. Released on April 17,Lords of the FallenVersion 2.0 added important featuresfor players to check out. One highlight was shared progression co-op, enhancing the game’s existing multiplayer experience. In addition, the developer introduced things like a dedicated jump button, improved combat, a free Friend’s Pass, and much more. Following up on the massive update from April, CI Games has looked to continue improving the gameplay experience in Version 2.0 with more patches.
The most recent of these updates came on May 9 and brought the game up to Version 2.0.13. While not the largest update the developer has released, the patch notes revealed several fixes that should make gameplay smoother for players. According to CI Games, improvements have been made to co-op play thanks to feedback. Among the changes, session stability has been improved, as a crashing issue was resolved. In addition, a problem withLords of the Fallen’s Cruciblethat caused crashes and corrupted saves was fixed.
Beyond crashing problems, the Version 2.0.13 update forLords of the Fallenaddressed a key item acquisition issue. Thanks to the latest patch, players should not have difficulties adding the Empyrean Key to the host’s inventory. In addition, an NPC interaction bug has been corrected. Now, Mohlu and other NPCs should display the “Offer Remembrances” button when appropriate.
It is nice to seeCI Games continue to supportLords of the Fallen. The developer has highlighted the importance of player feedback as it continues to work on the game. Besides the Version 2.0.13 update, there is more planned for the game, as additional patches are described as “coming soon.”
Time will tell what else the developer has in store forLords of the Fallenas it moves closer to its two-year anniversary in October. The game has continued to draw in players, with many of them glad to see new updates, like Version 2.0, over a year after the official launch. While asequel toLords of the Fallenis already in development, hopefully, CI Games will be able to continue to patch the 2023 game as needed to satisfy fans.
