How To Enter The Dungeon To See Theranis In Oblivion Remastered

Fast-travel to Skingrad castle and following the quest marks will lead you to two beggars. Choose one, bribe them, andask them about Theranis location inOblivion Remastered. The thief had beenboasting about stealing a bookand a nearby guard arrested him. Head to Castle Skingrad’s dungeon and speak with the guard. Ask him about an available job, and he will send you to the butler, Shum Gro-Yarug. Sadly, even though there is an option to bribe him, he will refuse, so you do need to get a job.

Locate the butler to become the Slop-Drudge and gain access to the dungeons. If he is not in the main hall, ask the other servants to know his schedule and go find him. After getting the job, go back and speak with the same guard to unlock the door and see the prisoners.

If players don’t mind, you can steal something cheap to get arrested and thrown in the dungeon.

Where To Find Theranis In Oblivion Remastered

There is nobody in the dungeon except for one prisoner called Larthjar the Laggard, and he asks you to free him. If you accept, you can easily ask about Theranis. If you refuse, you need topersuade him until his Disposition is above 40, and then ask about Theranis.

Follow the blood trail on the ground and interact with the right candlestick to open a secret route. Enter the Castle’s Wine Cellar and keep following the trail until you arrive at three barrels. Go to the one on the far right and lift the lever next to it to unlock the middle barrel.

Go inside and defeat the Pale Lady, then search her body to take two keys. Approach the body on the ground to find out it’s Theranis.Use one of the keys to unlock the nearby celland let Amusei out. He was Theranis' cellmate and knows where the Lost Histories of Tamriel book is, but refuses to reveal the location until you help him escape the castle.

From the wine cellar, use the other key to unlock the wooden door to the dining hall. Climb the stairs to see a pantry and someone walking outside. Wait for them to pass and then head to the northern gate, leading to county hall.

Proceed north and watch out for any patrolling guards, then head northeast towards the arch. Approach the door leading to the courtyard and open it using the same key to escape. Go northeast to get out of the castle to the west weald. Cross the bridge andAmusei will thank youand reveal the book’s location.

Where To Find The Lost Histories Of Tamriel In Oblivion Remastered

Tofind the Lost Histories of Tamriel inOblivion Remastered, speak with Amusei after escaping. Theranis left the book under a bush near a well in Skingrad. Follow the quest mark to the eastern gate and then continue forward until you see a well. Look west and approach the bush to see the Lost Histories of Tamriel under it. Return to S’Krivva to give her the book andreceive your payment of 400 gold, thus completing the Lost Histories quest.
