It was recently revealed that anew game mode will be coming toMarvel Rivals, which is called Giant-Size Brain Blast. While most game modes feature some kind of gameplay gimmick, this one seems to be a purely cosmetic makeover. NetEase Games recently released a reveal trailer for Giant-Size Brain Blast, which showed Spider-Man, Captain America, Moon Knight, and others with oversized heads. It’s a humorous mode that focuses on the sillier side of comics, but many fans seem to feel that’s part of its charm. Instead of debuting a new gameplay mechanic, like the infamous Clone Rumble mode, this one simply adds a fun twist to classic matches. The mode is scheduled to make its debut on April 25.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games gave players a first look at the new Loki skin coming to the game’s shop on April 24 at 7 PM PDT. Loki’s outfit is inspired by Kirisaki Mountain and shows the popular Strategist in white Japanese-themed attire with green accents and highlights.

This isn’t the onlynew skin coming toMarvel Rivalson April 24, as players will also be able to get their hands on the Yami no Karasu costume for the Duelist Hela, which was also designed by the artist Peach Momoko. Unfortunately, there’s no official word on just how much each skin or bundle will cost when it appears in the shop.
NetEase Games courted controversy recently with itsnewest skin for Doctor Strange inMarvel Rivals, which is based on his appearance inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Some gamers were upset by the fact that all the preview images of the skin in the shop showed his face and shoulders surrounded by extra arms and hands. However, when playing with the costume in-game, those hands only appear briefly during two specific abilities. A large portion of the community felt misled and was asking NetEase Games to issue them refunds. Despite that minor hiccup, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future ofMarvel Rivals.
