One of the official translations of the original PAX East event announcement evenleaked the potentialMafia: The Old Countryrelease date, stating that the game will hit the store shelves on August 8. While this prematurely shared tidbit has yet to be confirmed, an early August launch would line up with 2K’s oft-reiterated ambition of doing a summer 2025 launch.
Mafia: The Old Country PAX East Panel Promises New Insights and Rewards
Shortly after the gameplay trailer premieres, Hangar 13 will host a developer panel at PAX East, starting at 2pm ET / 11am PT / 7pm BST. The event will explore both the past and future of the franchise and offer behind-the-scenes insights into the upcoming game, 2K said. Some unspecified keepsake rewards will be given away to in-person attendees while supplies last. Anyone not able to attend the Boston panel will be able to watch it online—both live and on demand.
The PAX East panel will feature Hangar 13 President Nick Baynes, Cinematics Director Tomáš Hřebíček, and Game Director Alex Cox.
