CelebratingMonopoly GO’s team-up with Star Wars, Scopely has launched an all-new Star Wars Partners Event. This collaborative event runs from May 13th to May 18th, 2025, and tasks you to team up with four different partners to build Star Wars-themed creations and win rewards together.
The grand prize for the Star Wars Partner Event includes an exclusiveLuke and Yoda Board token, featuring the iconic duo. While the core mechanics of this Partners Event remain the same, Scopely has added an exciting new twist in honor of the Star Wars collaboration:Cargo.
What Is Cargo in the Star Wars Partner Event?
Much like theMystery Valentinesincluded in the Valentine’s Day-themed Partner Event held earlier this year, the Star Wars Partner Event has its own version of the “Partner Gifts” in the form of precious Cargo.
The partner wheel typically features a"Partner Gift" slotwhere you can send event tokens to your partner. When landing on this slot, you’ll now be given the option to send a gift (usually a set number of event tokens) or Cargo to your partner. The precious Cargo gifts can include things likeevent tokens, dice rolls, flash boosters, or even sticker packsfor your partner.
How To Send Precious Cargo in the Star Wars Partner Event
While you don’t actively “send” precious cargo, the opportunity arises when you spin the partner wheel to score points and hit the milestones required to build your landmark. Look for the slot marked with tiny question marks (?) and a cube, resembling a Holocron.
When the wheel lands on this slot, you may choose to send your partner the usualStar Wars Partner Event tokenor take a chance on the precious Cargo. Picking the Cargo option sends a random gift to your partner – maybe dice rolls, cash, or even a flash booster.
Your partner will find the precious Cargo gift waiting for them in the Friends & Family menu the next time they log in. It works just like claiming extra tokens.
Should You Send Precious Cargo Or Not?
The guaranteed Partner Gift sends a set number of event tokens, but the Mystery Cargo is tempting because of the possibility of sending extra dice and cash, or boosters to your friend.
Regardless, the Mystery Cargo is a gamble. You’re sacrificing those certain event tokens for a shot at a better reward, but there’s no guarantee it will be as beneficial. You might end up sending only a small sum of cash, which is obviously less helpful than the guaranteed event tokens. As such, your decision to send a Mystery Cargo should be weighed against your and your partner’s present situation in theMonopoly GO’s Star Wars Partners event.
