Capcom has heavily teased the Lagiacrus as the new Monster coming with Title Update 2, serving as the first time the electrifying Leviathan has appeared sinceMonster Hunter Generations. The developer also revealed that the next majorWildsupdate will introduce more 8-star “Tempered Monsters"to the game, bringing more powerful versions of pre-existing Monsters. Fans looking to improve their Hunter’s style are now in for a nice perk in Title Update 2.

As reported by ComicBook,Monster Hunter Wilds' Title Update 2 will be adding a long-requested feature fromMonster Hunter World. An official update from director Yuya Tokuda revealed that Title Update 2 will featurethe return of Layered Weapons, allowing players to further customize the looks of their Hunter. Layered Weapons allow players to set a Master Rank weapon to take on the appearance of another, all while maintaining the same statistics and benefits of the original. The update did not share many specifics about how Layered Weapons will be implemented inWilds.

Layered Weapons returning toMonster Hunter Wildsjoins plenty of other exciting content updates coming to the game. Aside from the previously-mentioned Lagiacrus,Monster Hunter Wildsrecently introduced its first crossover with the Version 1.011 update,adding Akuma fromStreet Fighter 6. The collaboration not only includes a full armor set allowing players to take on Akuma’s appearance, but also a collection of special associated items granting access to some of Akuma’s signature attacks.

WithMonster Hunter Wilds' next major update on the horizon, Capcom has continued to introduce smaller content patches since the game’s launch. The previously-mentioned 1.011 update added five new Tempered Monsters to the game, introducingpowered-up versions of the Gore Magala, Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad.
