With that in mind, these are the most violent pirate crews, ranked based on their captain’s bounty.
7Donquixote Pirates
A Ruthless Crime Syndicate
The Donquixote Pirates are led by Donquixote Doflamingo, a fallen noble known for his ruthlessness. He used to be one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, which is why his bounty is frozen only at 340,000,000 Belly. Furthermore, they have also occupied the Kingdom of Dressrosa for more than a decade.
Rather than typical pirates, the Donquixote Pirates resemble a criminal organization. Like most wicked pirates, they started with plundering ships and raiding villages. Butonce they took over Dressrosa, they turned this once peaceful kingdom into the center of their illegal arms dealing and artificial devil fruit business. The number of innocent people that they hurt, killed, and oppressed likely reaches into the thousands. Considering all the terrible things that Doflamingo has done, his bounty should be way higher than this. Alas, he has the protection of the World Government.
6Caribou Pirates
An Extremely Violent Rookie
The Caribou Pirates are one of the super rookies who enter the Sabaody Archipelago after the Marineford War. Caribou Pirates is co-captained by the Caribou brothers,the “Wet-Haired” Caribou, and the “Blood-Splatterer” Coribou. Individually, their bounty is lower than Doflamingo’s, but since both of them are considered captain, the sum of their bounty ends up higher than Doflamingo’s.
The bounty of both Caribou brothers is higher than Luffy and Zoro’s bounty when they landed on Sabaody Archipelago years ago. The reason is quite simple. They are far more violent than the Straw Hats. They raid, pillage, plunder, kill, kidnap, and commit all manner of violent crimes. That’s why their bounty skyrocketed so quickly.
5Kid Pirates
Spreading Death & Destruction Everywhere They Go
The Kid Pirates arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago at the same time as the Straw Hats and several other notable rookie pirates,collectively known as the Eleven Supernovas. Years later, Captain Kid also contributes to the defeat of Big Mom, one of the Four Emperors of the Sea. That’s why he gets the same amount of bounty as Luffy.
Out of the Eleven Supernovas who were at the Sabaody Archipelago at the time, Captain Kid had the highest bounty on his head. The reason is pretty much the same as Caribou. They were, and still are, extremely violent. They leave trails of death and destruction wherever they go. It’s no wonder the World Government gave him such a high bounty.
4Blackbeard Pirates
Brutal, Barbaric, And Extremely Bloodthirsty
The Blackbeard Pirates are the current biggest threat to the world. The captain, Marshall D. Teach, started as part of the crew for the 2nd Division of Whitebeard Pirates. He betrayed the Whitebread Pirates and went on to form his own crew, the Blackbeard Pirates. Not long after, Blackbeard became one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. He abandoned his warlord position during the Marineford War and now earned his spot as one of the Four Emperors of the Sea.
Blackbeard is the kind of man who will gladly resort to violence to achieve his goals. From betraying his crewmates to killing innocent civilians, he will do anything to get what he wants. Now that his crew is filled with nothing but dangerous and bloodthirsty criminals fromthe deepest level of the Impel Down prison, the Blackbeard pirates have become even more ruthless and barbaric.
3Big Mom Pirates
A Family Of Violent Pirates
If the Donquixote Pirates are a Crime Organization, then the Big Mom Pirates are a family business. After all, every high-ranking officer in the Big Mom Pirates is the child of its captain, Charlotte Linlin, also known as the Big Mom. For a long time, she reigned as one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, until the combined power ofEustass Kid and Trafalgar Law defeated herin Wano Country.
Big Mom is a highly impulsive person. One moment, she is a reasonable person whom you can reason with. Next moment, she is a rampaging lunatic who will kill anything in her path, including her own child. She treats human lives as nothing more than a plaything. Needless to say, her children and her crews also think and behave the same way as their captain.
2Beast Pirates
A Cruel Pirate Crew That Brings Suffering To Innocent Citizens
The Beast Pirates are led by one of the Four Emperors of the Sea, the ferocious “Thousand Beasts” Kaidou.This is a crew comprised of Devil Fruit users. The top executives, including the captain, possess the power of Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruits, while the hundreds of low-level soldiers ate artificial Devil Fruits. This immense firepower is what allows the Beast Pirates to occupy the Wano Country for two decades.
To say Kaidou ruled the people of the Wano Country with an iron fist is an understatement. From forced labor to indiscriminate killing, Kaidou and the despicable people who work under his banner commit all kinds of atrocities against the people of Wano. To these innocent citizens, violence and suffering are an everyday reality. That’s how cruel and dangerous Beasts Pirates truly are.

The Rocks Pirates were a legendary pirate crew that ruled the ocean decades before the start of the story. Other than its terrifying captain, Rocks D. Xebec, this crew consisted of big names such as Kaidou, Big Mom, Shiki the Golden Lion, and even Whitebeard.It took the combined power of Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garpto take down Rocks D. Xebec. Once the captain fell, the Rocks Pirates disbanded, and the members went on to form their own legendary pirate crews.
The Rocks Pirates were infamous not only due to the incredible talents that it had under its banner, but also because of the unimaginable violence that it brought upon the world. Nothing was too violent or too cruel for them.
The era of the Rocks Pirates was so terrible that the World Government tried its best to erase this despicable pirate crew from history. That’s why nobody knows the true amount of bounty offered for Rocks D. Xebec’s head. But considering he has multiple people who went on to become Billion-Belly pirates under his command, it’s safe to assume that Rocks’ bounty was way higher than his former crews.
