Summary
My Hero Academiais a popular series that is powering toward a bombastic conclusion. Midoriya’s ascent to become the No. 1 Hero is a fascinating one, withthe inheritor of One for Alldoing everything he can to control this stupendous power.
Given how powerful the villains in this series are, there are times when the heroes are up against a significant challenge. No matter what they do, defeat is all but a guarantee as these heroes try their hardest to survive in the face of overwhelming strength.
1Izuku Midoriya VS Class 1-A
Everyone’s A Hero Here, But Izuku Was Too Tired To Escape The Combined Might Of His Classmates
Neither Midoriya nor Class 1-A is a villain in this conflict, but that doesn’t stop Midoriya from trying to escape his friends. However, he is beyond exhausted at this point and is struggling to stay awake.
This makes it easy for Class 1-A to overwhelm him as he’s unable to mount a significant offense. Perhaps a part of him wanted to be captured all along, given how peaceful he is as he resigns himself to this fate.
2Class 1-A VS Mirio Togata
Lemillion Shows Class 1-A Just How Far Behind They Are
As talented as Class 1-A was, the gulf between them and the Pro Heroes is immense. This is something that’s hammered in by one of the members of U.A.’s Big Three, Mirio Togata.
Lemillion uses his powers to solo the entire class without any effort, proving to them just how inferior their training was. No matter how many times this scenario is replayed, Mirio will always come out on top against the greenhorns of Class 1-A.
3Mirio Togata VS Overhaul
Even After Losing His Powers, Lemillion Stands Tall As A True Hero
In a fair fight, Mirio could’ve won against Overhaul and given the villain a taste of his medicine. However, he had to protect Eri and eventually sacrificed his Quirk to save her from Chisaki’s cruelty.
He could’ve given up at this point, but Mirio didn’t give up. Even without his Impermeation Quirk, he refused to back down and was incapacitated only afterhis injuries became too grievousfor him to carry on.
4Villa Raid Team & Trainees VS Paranormal Liberation Front
Gigantomachia’s Might Is Too Much For The Pro Heroes
Gigantomachia is one of the most powerful villains in the series, who was about to go on a rampage and trash the entirety of Japan. The Pro Heroes couldn’t let this happen and decided to carry out a plan to stop this behemoth.
Using sedatives to knock Gigantomachia out was a bold plan, but the heroes simply couldn’t prepare for the might of this immense villain. Despite everyone giving it their all, heroes like Majestic and Midnight were killedby this beast as he powered through and beat the Pro Heroes, going on a rampage throughout the country.
Sir Nighteye Is A Slave To His Quirk And Loses The Will To Fight Against Overhaul
Nighteye and his team were confident that they could take on Overhaul and defeat him. However, for the first time in his life, Nighteye’s Foresight Quirk failed him as he was unable to find a way to fight back againstthe overwhelming might of Chisaki’s Quirk.
This led to him being mortally wounded as he lost all hope. If he wasn’t too dependent on his Quirk and believed in himself, he could’ve survived, but Nighteye’s reliance on Foresight was so strong that this battle would’ve ended with his demise every single time.
6Fumikage Tokoyami VS Dabi
Geten Unwittingly Saves Tokoyami From Dabi’s Flames
Despite being a side character, Tokoyami has proved time and time again that he has the strength needed to become a top-ranking Pro Hero. This can be seen when he assists his mentor, Hawks, and saves him from Dabi’s fiery blaze.
However, it doesn’t take long for Tokoyami to realize thathe’s completely outclassed against this villain. If it hadn’t been for Geten’s ice, Tokoyami would’ve become yet another casualty during the Paranormal Liberation War.
