My Hero Academiaended last year with a phenomenal final chapter that fans thoroughly enjoyed. The series continues to generate incredible hype to this day, even months after its end. Given thatMy Hero Academiaenjoyed an incredibly successful run in Jump, it is no surprise to see the story still have fans talk about it to this day.
The fact that the author continues to drop new bits every now and that only helps to keep the fanbase alive. Recently,Horikoshi revealed a lot of exciting informationto the fans about the Class 1-A students, and curiously enough, Deku’s new Hero ranking has been revealed by the author.
Deku’s Role As A Hero At The End Of My Hero Academia
Fans were incredibly disappointed by the end ofMy Hero Academiasimply due to the fact that Deku didn’t have his Quirk anymore.Deku gave up the power of One For Allin an attempt to stop Shigaraki Tomura and All For One. However, he was still left with the embers of One For All for quite some time.
Slowly, though, the embers burned out and Deku was quirkless once again. This is one of the reasons why Deku eventually became a teacher at UA while all his friends were out there being Heroes. Things changed greatly when Deku got a new Hero suit at the end of the story, largely thanks to All Might, Bakugo, and the other students of Class 1A. Deku got the chance to be a Hero once again, but fans didn’t exactly see him do anything.
Deku Is The New Number 4 Hero In My Hero Academia
Deku Has Climbed The Hero Billboard A Lot
Previously, Kohei Horikoshi revealed updated Hero rankings, and it was clear to the fans that Deku was nowhere near the top positions. However, now, it appears that he is taking his Hero duties more seriously, meaning Deku is officially a very active Hero now. He’s risen up the Hero rankings a lot and Horikoshi has now officially revealed that he is the Number 4 Hero in My Hero Academia. The only heroes ahead of him in the story right now are Mount Lady, Shoto Todoroki, and of course,the Number One Hero, Mirio Togata, also known as Lemillion.

It is quite surprising to know that Deku has also pulled ahead of Bakugo in the latest rankings. Bakugo was previously packed at Number 15, but that was largely down to his bad attitude rather than his strength. Clearly, he has made amends in that regard, but he is still behind Deku and holds the Number 5 spot right now.
It can officially be said that both Deku and Bakugo are competing for the top spots once again, which only makes this more interesting. Hopefully,Horikoshi will continue this trend of revealing the updated Hero rankingsafter every few months or years, giving fans an idea of how Deku and Bakugo have progressed.
