These Characters Are Bakugo and Deku
Horikoshi is a talented mangaka, and is expected to be the creator of one of the biggest shonen series ever, My Hero Academia. Not only is Horikoshi a talented writer, but he’s also an extremely talented artist. Despite his talent, Horikoshi does find some characters tricky to draw.
Previously,Horikoshi had mentioned Himiko Togaas a character he struggled to draw, especially due to her hair and eyes, and fans can definitely see why, as her design is a bit more complicated than others.

Recently, however, Horikoshi has named two new characters whom he found tricky to draw, and fans might be surprised by their identity. Horikoshi just revealed that Deku and Bakugo are the trickiest characters to draw in the newMy Hero Academiafanbook,My Hero Academia Ultra Age.
This is definitely interesting, as these two characters are obviously some of the most recurring in the series, given that they’re both main characters. That said, Horikoshi definitely nailed their appearance and expressions most of the time, and struck a very good balance.
Horikoshi Emphasizes Bakugou Especially
While Horikoshi mentioned that he found it tricky to draw both Bakugou and Deku,he especially put some emphasis on Bakugou.
In other words, Bakugou is the trickiest character for him, overall. This must have definitely been a challenge for him, especially in the Final War arc, where he drew some stunning panels with Bakugou in his battle versus All for One.

The My Hero Academia manga was wrapped up by the mangaka, Horikoshi, in 2024. The story features 430 chapters for fans to read. All these chapters can be found on Manga Plus, as the story used to be serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump when it was still ongoing.
