Sure enough, plenty of EA’sStar Warsgames received sizable price cuts on May 4, but so did a bunch of other titles, as EA justlaunched a large-scale publisher sale on Steam. Even though the company’s own store banner promises discounts of “up to 85%,” a quick glance at the promo page itself reveals numerous titles that have received even deeper price cuts. These include fiveBattlefieldgames, with the likes ofBattlefield 1andHardlinecurrently being offered at 95% off. In most of these cases, EA is offering the content-complete editions of DICE’s older first-person shooters for a few bucks each.

Another standout deal that’s part of the ongoing sale is a 90% discount on thecritically acclaimedMass Effect: Legendary Edition. The offer brings it down to $4.79, matching the game’s lowest-ever price. Fans of BioWare’s sci-fi RPG franchise can currently also pick up other entries in the series at a steep discount, with all titles currently 80% off. That translates to savings of $32 on the Deluxe Edition ofMass Effect: Andromedaand $24 off each game in the original trilogy.

Thelatest entry in theNeed for Speedfranchise,NFS Unbound, has received a generous 86% price cut as part of the May 2025 sale, bringing it down to $9.79, which equates to over $60 in savings.
