Love, Death + Robots Season 4’s Review Scores Are Wildly Divided

Over onRotten Tomatoes, the scores are in forLove, Death + Robotsseason 4, and while some praise the show’s “spectacular combination of intriguing stories and wonderful animation,” others don’t quite feel the same way, stating that volume 4 struggled to recapture the magic its previous seasons brought. Even though season 4 has a rare 100% Tomatometer from critics' 12 reviews, the show’s audiencescore currently only stands at 40% with over 100 ratings. Most of what critics seemed to love about the show’s return in season 4 has been its rich palette of animation styles and stunning creativity, but even among the positivity, some did touch on how the series wasn’t as bold as it was before, indicating a possible creative burnout.
