The demo ofTower of Babel: Survivors of Chaosfeatures a decent look into the full game, allowing players to traverse through the first floor of the tower. Even in the very first level, players get to experience the relentlessbarrage of enemies that is reminiscent ofVampire Survivors. These include various types of skeletons, bats, and even spell-casting liches. However, upgrades have to be earned again when attempting the floor again.

The loot and equipment systems areclearly heavily influenced byDiablo, offering a very familiar UI and rarity progression.

Between floor attempts, players can access a lobby with NPCs to manage inventory, not unlikeDiablo 4’s various towns and cities within Sanctuary. Players can upgrade and sell gear, identify treasures, and buy equipment that has been stolen by the goblin, giving respite from constant mayhem. While in the demo, the availability of NPCs is limited, the full version seems to offer plenty of versatility.Tower of Babel: Survivors of Chaoscan be wishlisted now on Steam, with a planned Early Access release on May 19.
