According toDealabs' Billbil-kun, Sony is reportedly preparing to launch two PS5 bundles featuringCall of Duty: Black Ops 6on May 28. The leaker states that one bundle will be for the PS5 Slim with a digital download code forCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, while the second bundle offers the same but withthe Digital Edition of the PS5 Slim. The PS5 Slim bundle will cost $399.99 / €449.99, while the Digital Edition PS5 Slim bundle will cost $449.99 / €499.99. It should be noted that the pricing of these bundles was not confirmed yet by PlayStation, however. In addition, in-game bonuses, such as redeemable cosmetics and content forCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, are not expected to be included with the bundles.
Sony is Preparing to Launch New PS5 Console Bundle Featuring Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on May 28
Sony will reportedly launch theCall of Duty: Black Ops 6PS5 bundles with the Days of Play 2025 promotion, which is expected to last for two weeks until June 04, 2025. During the promotion, Sony is expected to host a number of deals on PS5 consoles and accessories on the official PlayStation Direct online store and at retailers like Amazon or Best Buy. It could offer an “unprecedented” discount for PS5 Slim consoles, possibly offering bigger savings than Sony’s own Black Friday 2024 PS5 deals. A slight discount is also expected forthe powerful PS5 Pro, which was released on June 09, 2025.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6isn’t the first title to receive a PS5 bundle months after its launch, however. This past March, Sony revealed anew PS5 bundle featuring the critically acclaimed 3D platformerAstro Bot.Astro Botis among several first-party PlayStation games to receive a console bundle, alongsideGod of War Ragnarok,Horizon Forbidden West, andMarvel’s Spider-Man 2.
