LEGO has just revealed new Nintendo-based sets inspired bySuper Mario Bros.,Animal Crossing, andMario Kart. Nintendo andLEGOfirst partnered up to release a building set themed after the original NES console, and from there, many iconic franchises have been represented in brick form. The successful partnership between LEGO and Nintendo will continue in 2025, much to the delight of collectors and gamers. Earlier this year, LEGO unveiled amassiveMario Kartsetdepicting Mario in his signature red go-kart, and it was announced that aLEGO Pokemoncrossover is finally happening in 2026.

As it turns out, LEGO and Nintendo still have plenty more to show fans in 2025, withJay’s Brick Blogconfirming that a full lineup ofLEGO Super Mariosets is on the way this summer. This line was revealed by German retailer JB Spielwaren, and includes at least three sets inspired byMario Kart: “Bowser’s Castle,” “Wario & King Boo,” and the “Interactive LEGO Mario & Standard Kart” set. “Prince Florian & Castle Bowser” brings theominous floating fortress fromSuper Mario Bros. Wonderto life as a LEGO model, while “Party at Toad’s House” and “Captain Toad’s Camp” are centered around the toadstool soldiers of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Marioisn’t the only Nintendo property getting new LEGO sets this summer, as three newAnimal Crossingsets are going to be released in August. As perJay’s Brick Blog, these sets consist of “Blather’s Museum Collection,” which featuresfan-favoriteAnimal CrossingcharactersBlathers the Owl and Lily the Frong alongside a dinosaur skeleton, “Creative Houses: Season of Fun,” which sees a handful of popular villagers setting up houses for all seasons, and “Goldie’s Cosy House,” which finally adds Goldie the Dog to the growing list ofAnimal Crossingminifigures.

These new sets are coming right as a few of theexistingLEGO Animal Crossingsetsare about to be retired, so fans need to act fast if they wish to build a complete village when the new sets arrive this summer. The recently announcedLEGO Super MarioandLEGO Animal Crossingsets will all launch on August 1, just a few short months after Nintendo kicks off a whole new era of gaming with the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
