LoreBlivion ReShade aims to make minute adjustments to the default look ofOblivion Remasteredin order to lift the image and increase the vibrancy to adequate levels, replacing the slightly washed-out tint with something miles better.

The colors are more vibrant and saturated, but it’s only a slight increase that’s hard to notice when the two versions aren’t being compared side by side. The end result is a tasteful boost to the color temperature, with darks becoming slightly darker, the whites becoming slightly brighter, and the colors becoming slightly more, well, colorful.

For players who want a trip down memory lane and want to recreate aone-to-one rendition of the originalOblivion, the Classic Oblivion Color Grading is the final solution. Obviously, it doesn’t directly downgrade the look of the game to match the original, but what it can do is use color grading tricks to import the color scheme of the 2006 version without too much trouble. It is spectacular to see.

This ReShade’s aim is not to improve the image quality in any way but only to apply the look of the originalOblivionto the Remastered version for nostalgia’s sake. The result is a game that’s a bit too washed out and a bit too green, but the mod achieves what it sets out to do perfectly.

Based on the legendarySkyrimmodlist, Nolvus, the Nolvus ReShade aims to highlight the game’s HDR capabilities, while making minute adjustments to increase the image quality. It removes the annoying fog effect that permeates the entire game and replaces it with clarity that’s refreshing to see.

In Nolvus ReShade, the game retains a bit of its yellow tint but since it’s accompanied by raised sharpness and decent bloom, it looks a lot better than the base game. This ReShade works best for players who aren’t fans of the super vibrant fantasy style most ReShades tend to favor and prefer a more muted look that only slightly adjustsOblivion Remastered’slooks.

Based on one of the most beloved modlist for the originalOblivion, A Painted World Remastered aims to implement the tone mapping and overall look and feel of the original game to the Remastered version while taking advantage of the uplift that UE5 provides.

The main goal is to replace the warm red and brown tones of the Remastered Version with the slightly oversaturated, fantasy look of the original. The adjustments are immediately noticeable, mainly due to the improved white balance, which makes the greens and blues really pop. In some places, the image looks slightly oversaturated and a little too vibrant, but this can be fixed by lowering the brightness somewhat.
