However, after bringing in the items for the amount described in the quest, you will find that it does not update.
This is because Independent Thievery is bonded to all other Thieves Guild quests inOblivion Remastered. Therefore, to fulfill the condition for stealing valuable items, you will also need to complete the jobs that appear before the Independent Thievery quest will quietly update, increasing the requirements.
