Now thatOblivion Remasteredhas been out for about a month, we can take a look at achievement stats for the game to determine the most popular guilds. The Mages Guild inOblivion Remasteredis leading the pack with 21.54% of players joining it. The Arena is in second place with 19.18%, while the Fighters Guild comes in third with 17.46. There’s then a steep drop-off, with only 13.44% ofOblivion Remasteredplayers joining the Dark Brotherhood. And finally, the Thieves Guild is the least popular major guild inOblivion Remasteredwith 12.46% of players unlocking the achievement for joining it. This data is based on Xbox achievements and, over time, the rankings may very well change.

I have to admit, I am a bit surprised at the currentOblivion Remasteredguild rankings. I would have expectedthe Arenato be in first place since it seems a lot of players knock out the Arena as one of the first things they do in the game. I also thoughtOblivion Remastered’s Dark Brotherhood would be a lot higher. It’s one of the most talked-about questlines inElder Scrollshistory, after all.

It’s possible that the achievements are skewed by how easy it is to join some of the guilds versus others. Joining the Mages Guild inOblivion Remasteredis a simple matter of talking to a guild leader, and the same goes for the Fighters Guild. To join the Dark Brotherhood, players have to murder an innocent person, sleep, and then assassinate someone else.Joining the Thieves Guild is even more involved, with players having to carry out a heist if they want to join.

Now, as for how many guilds are seen through to the end, that’s a different story. 11.21% ofOblivion Remasteredplayers have completed the Arena, 4.16% have completed the Dark Brotherhood, 3.39% have wrapped up theMages Guild quests, 3.14% have finished the Thieves Guild, and 2.51% have beaten the Fighters Guild. So, while some of the guilds are more popular than others when it comes to signing up, the completion rates show that some guilds may be more engaging than others.

Oblivion Remastered Guild Completion Rates

Oblivion Remasteredbeing available through Xbox Game Passmeans a lot more people have easy access to the game than they would have otherwise. Considering this, it’s entirely possible that the stats will change over time. For example, it could be thatOblivion Remastered’s Arena overtakes the Mages Guild at some point. Time will tell, but it will definitely be interesting to see how things shift in the future.
