But it makes sense that Oda did not do such a thing because it would ruin a potentially epic moment.

The One Piece anime released Episode 1128 on June 08, 2025. The episode earned the plaudits of fansand critics alike. Vincent Chansard, one of the animators working on the One Piece anime, also disclosed that Oda complimented the staff for their efforts. This is a huge testament to the anime’s quality, and it proves that the One Piece anime is in the right hands.
Despite the anime’s incredible quality, there have been a few concerns among the audience, and most of them have been linked to the addition of new scenes. Viewers believe that adding new scenes without too much deliberation can negatively affect the series and its characters. Given the recent backlash,it is possible that Toei Animation will be morecareful and only make changes if they don’t adversely affect a character and ruin their reputation.
There’s also positivenews regarding the One Piece Live Action. According to a recent report, filming for the third season of the series will begin in late 2025, once the second season finishes airing.
