The Admirals, in particular, are considered the greatest weapons of the Marines, and so far, they have given fans little reason to doubt this claim. In the Egghead arc, One Piece fans have had the opportunity to see Admiral Kizaru in action. For years, he was hyped up as an elite fighter, and the recent episodes have shown why.
Kizaru’s Clones Are Extremely Powerful
One Of Them Was Able To Hurt Luffy
In One Piece Episode 1127, Kizaru went toe-to-toe with Luffy for the first time since the timeskip. The Admiral had humiliated the pirate twice, but this time things were different. Luffy’s strength has improved severalfold, so he could easily fight against an Admiral. In the beginning, Luffy used Snakeman to try and overwhelm Kizaru, but that failed. Therefore, he decided to tap into the power of Gear 5th, his strongest form. After being caught and tossed away by a giantified Luffy,Kizaru realized that there was no moremargin for error.
So, the Admiral used Yasaka no Magatama to avoid crashing into the water. Next, he used the light beads to create multiple clones and made them attack Luffy. The pirate was quite shocked to see Kizaru’s new move and, initially, he struggled to understand the nature of the technique. Luffy compared it to the holograms that he had encountered earlier on the island and to Perona’s Hollows.
Kizaru Used His Clones To Trick Luffy
It seems that Kizaru’s clones have some level of sentience, as they were able to attack Luffy separately. They also effortlessly coordinated with Kizaru and helped him bypass Luffy’s defenses. One of the clones even made a cut with its attack. However, they were ultimately no match for Luffy as he took out all of them with the Dawn Stamp.
While they might have been wiped out by Luffy, it is safe to say that the clones could have easily overwhelmed someone who was weaker than him. So,the clones are an incredible weapon in Kizaru’slocker, and he could effectively use them to overpower Yonko Commanders with ease.
Luffy Vs. Kizaru Will Decide Vegapunk’s Fate
The two fighters might look even in terms of strength, but it’seasy to see that Luffy is easilysuperior to Kizaru. Luffy is using Gear 5th, but he hasn’t used Advanced Conqueror’s Haki once in the fight, which is rather surprising as it is one of the most powerful abilities in his locker. Luffy was able to bypass Kaido’s nearly impenetrable defense with Conqueror’s Haki, so not using it against Kizaru makes no sense. If Luffy makes use of it in the next episode, then it’s curtains for Kizaru.

The Admiral’s only hope at this point is Luffy running out of energy to use Gear 5th. Fans have already seen multiple instances where Luffy needs to rest after using Gear 5th. If that happens,Vegapunk’s fate is more or less sealed. He will not get away from Egghead and all the satellites except York will perish. However, that is a big if, and most likely, Luffy will finish the fight in the upcoming episode.
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn Will Join The Fray
Until now,Jaygarcia Saturn remained in the backseat,waiting for Kizaru and others to get the job done. But after seeing Kizaru struggle, the Godhead of Science & Defense is going to get involved as well. Judging from the preview of Episode 1128, it seems that Jaygarcia Saturn will make landfall with some mysterious summoning circle.
His strength remains a mystery, but it won’t be long before it is revealed. Depending on how powerful Jaygarcia Saturn is, the Straw Hats and Vegapunk will have to modify their strategy of escaping from Egghead Island.
