Summary

The Holy Knights have been incredibly central to the Elbaf arc ofOne Pieceand fans have already seen quite a lot of them here in the land of Giants. The Holy Knights arrived in Elbaf with the goal of taking over Elbaf and bringing it to its knees, forcing their Giants to follow the World Government in perpetuity in the wars to come.

Naturally, the Straw Hat Pirates and others on Elbaf wouldn’t simply sit by and let this happen. Major fights were always going to break out against the Holy Knights and that’s exactly what happened inOne Piecechapter 1148. As a major clash erupted, fans also got a confirmation ofthe power levels of some members of the Holy Knights.

The Holy Knights Are Monsters In Their Own Right

The Holy Knights hold tremendous powers and that goes without saying. Fans have seen them showcase their abilities on multiple occasions. For one, whenShamrock Figarland and Gunkoarrived on Elbaf, Oda made it clear that they were insanely powerful. Shamrock himself is portrayed to be over the power level of the likes of Loki, which is quite interesting. Meanwhile, Shamrock was confident that Gunko could also beat Loki even if he was unrestrained.

It’s no use. We can’t beat them. They’re immortal. — Luffy on the Five Elders

Fans also saw two more Holy Knights pop up in Elbaf as Shamrock left, and they are Saint Sommers and Saint Killingham. Both of these monsters are strong in their own right. At the very least, fans have confirmation that they are far stronger than Navy Vice Admirals. The biggest power of the Holy Knights is that they’re immortal. They can’t be beaten by any known means so far, and that makes them stronger than anyone, as even Luffy cannot defeat them at the moment. But, in One Piece chapter 1148, another major display of their power was given.

Gaban One-Shot Saint Sommers of The Holy Knights

Scopper Gaban Showed His Legendary Strength

One Piecechapter 1148 was absolutely massive for Gaban as he rushed into battle and absolutely demolished the Holy Knight Sommers. Gaban covered miles in the mere blink of an eye, and then proceeded to coat his axes in what appears to be Supreme King Haki, chopping Sommers arm off.

Wait what? Its not regenerating? — Sommers upon being hit by Gaban

Much to the surprise of the fans, Sommers’s arm couldn’t regenerate from this.Gaban then absolutely blitzed Sommersand cut him across the chest with Haki, landing a deadly blow and defeating him without even suffering so much as a scratch.

Most Holy Knights Aren’t Yonko Level

With the defeat of Sommers, it can safely be said that not all Holy Knights are Yonko level, but that doesn’t mean nobody is. For instance, Shamrock certainly is on the same level as the Yonko, and fans know that Gunko holds tremendous potential as well. Garling, who served the Holy Knights, is also Yonko level, if not stronger. It appears that the power levels inthe ranks of Holy Knights vary. But, they’re all strong. Even though Sommers got beaten easily, he should be considered equal to a top Yonko Commander, and at the same time, their immortality actually ensures that they beat all Yonko Commanders.
