The All Blue, for instance, is a sea that nobody in recent history has even seen, making it a legendary place. Similarly, the Final Island on the Grand Line, Laugh Tale, is yet another island that holds legendary importance in the story. But,Roger did go to Laugh Taleand claimed theOne Piece. There is one place in theOne Pieceworld even more legendary than Laugh Tale and Oda has already teased it inOne Piecechapter 224.
An Island More Legendary Than Laugh Take — The Emerald City
There is no denying the fact that Laugh Tale is a legendary island in One Piece. This place cannot be reached by following the Log Pose. The log does have an end, but it only leads one to Lodestar Island. From there onwards, the truth about the Road Poneglyph is revealed, which themselves are the key to the Final Island, Laugh Tale. Once the four Road Poneglyphs are acquired, one can reach Laugh Tale.

If Laugh Tale is special, then there is an island even more legendary inOne Piece, teased only once, called the Emerald City, first spoken of by Bellamy inOne Piecechapter 224. As the name suggests, the Emerald City is an island where everything glows green and emeralds cover everything. But, this place is only a myth to many. That said, it certainly does exist, andOda has left a big clueto it in the Harley.
First World
Flames engulfed the land, and humans succumbed to their desires, touching the forbidden Sun. The enslaved prayed, and the Sun God appeared. The Earth God was enraged, and together with the serpent of infernal flames, shrouded the world in death and darkness. They would never meet again.
Second World
Breath stirred within the void, and the Forest God sent forth demons. The Sun did nothing but spread the fires of war. The people of the half-moon dreamed, the people of the full-moon dreamed. Humans slew the Sun and became Gods, and the Sea God raged. They Would never meet again.
Third World
In chaos, there is void. The troubled shadow remembers the promised day, and hears the voice of the fractured moon.The Sun God dances and laughs, leading the world to its end. The sun will return once more, and a new dawn will arrive. Surely, this time, they will meet again.
Why Emerald City Existed In The First World
All Signs Point To It Being Lost To Time
First and foremost, fans need to decipher the Harley, and understand that it directly points to a very advanced world existing 3000 years ago, where mankind found nuclear energy. This is indicated by the fact that it speaks of flames, or in other words, Mother Flame. In Egghead,Motherflame has the writing “A&Mu” on it, which reads as “A to Mu,” or Atom in Japanese. Furthermore, the serial number of the Mother Flame, S-108, has the same Goroawase for Esteban, or Child of Sun. To put it simply, the Mother Flame is nuclear energy.
When it comes to nuclear energy, fans know already that Uranium plays a very important role here. To create the Undying Flame of the Mother Flame, uranium was likely mined in the First World, which is why slavery was rampant. However, Uranium isn’t just used for nuclear energy. Ur is also used for craftwork and even glassware! This glass is called Uranium Glass, and one special quality of it is that when it is exposed to sunlight, it glows green! In other words, the Emerald City is the Ancient Citywhere Mother Flame was harnessedand was used extensively during the First World, and then possibly again in the Second World.
This place was, most likely, what ended up becoming the Ancient Kingdom, but its current whereabouts are unknown.
