One PieceisCurrently in the Elbaf arc, and needless to say, this story arc is going incredibly well so far. In the entirety ofOne Piece, Elbaf is proving to be one of the most exciting story arcs and it has the potential to be the best arc in the whole story. Oda has made some absolutely massive reveals in the Elbaf arc ofOne Piecealready.
More than that, there is also the fact that some incredibly powerful villains have been introduced in this arc. Fans have already sent a glimpse of Shamrock Figarland, as well as some other Holy Knights, such as Gunko. But, more than that, there is also an even bigger threat on Elbaf, and that is Imu themself. As seen in the last chapter, Imu, the ruler of the world ofOne Piece, is now here and willing to stand in the path of Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as the main enemy of the arc.
Oda Just Introduced Imu In Elbaf
One Piecechapter 1149 dropped recently, and it basically confirmed something that we predicted a whole month ago. The idea was that Imu would bethe main villain of the Elbaf arc, and it came true. As seen in the previous chapter, Imu was speaking through Gunko, and eventually, took control of her body. Imu then went on to state that the Holy Land is in a sea of flames at the moment. This is absolutely massive, and it is one of the reasons why they need more military power. As such, Imu is in Elbaf to speed up the process of taking the Elbaf Giants under their control and making them the warrior slaves of the country.
Mu will show thee the dominance of a God! — Imu
As Imu said, the goal is to show everyone the dominance of a God, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what comes next in the upcoming few chapters of the story. If there’s one thing that is clear, it is that Imu is the main villain of the arc. As is the case with Oda, usually, the main villains are stronger than the ones that preceded them. Kaido was the last big boss that Luffy fought, and now, it’ll have to be Imu. This can only mean one thing, and that is the fact that Imu is the strongest in the One Piece world right now.
Why Imu Is Stronger Than The Yonko And Five Elders
Imu Rules Over The Five Elders As A God
For quite a while, fans thought Imu would be weak and not a combatant. This facade shattered in One Piece chapter 1085, where Imu’s abilities were clearly shown. Fans know already that Imu possesses tremendous power. At the same time, fans also know that Imu has godly strength now, as confirmed in One Piece chapter 1149.Imu is in Elbaf, and they have confirmed already that they intend to show everyone how a God dominates those under them. In other words, Imu is very strong.
What light shall we erase from the world this time, Imu Sama? — Five Elders
Fans already knowthat the Five Elders are monsters. In fact, Oda even drew a direct comparison between their Haki and that of Shanks. If Imu can dominate someone with Haki close to the level of Shanks, then Imu is the strongest in the world, and that goes without saying.
How Strong Will Gunko Imu Be?
While Imu is undoubtedly the strongest, fans need to keep in mind thatthey are currently in Gunko’s body. This means Imu cannot use their own Devil Fruit power, and more than that, are probably limited in how much power they can channel through Gunko’s body. In other words, this is going to be a nerfed Imu display in Elbaf, and fans know that already. Fans shouldn’t make assumptions on Imu’s strength based on what they see in the Elbaf arc, since it is likely far greater than just that.
