Gear 5 is definitely powerful, but it won’t be Luffy’s last or ultimate ability. Luffy is fighting enemies stronger and stronger, and just Gear 5 won’t be able to cut it. Oda is still hiding Luffy’s ultimate power-up, and this ability has to do with his haki.
As many fans know, Haki is the ultimate power inOne Piece. Devil Fruits are great, but one can’t be at the top without amazing Haki. Fans of the series have already seen the power of Joy Boy’s Haki during the Egghead arc, and Luffy will not only have to reach this level, but he will also have to surpass it.
