Overwatch 2has officially begun a new Discord Quest to celebrate the launch of Season 16, featuring an easy way to earn five free Loot Boxes. Simply by playingOverwatch 2for 15 minutes between now and April 29, players can pick up these free in-game items with minimal effort.
Season 16 has arrived inOverwatch 2with a bang, bringing with it the new Stadium game mode, a damage hero named Freja, and Hero Bans in Competitive. It also brought a refresh to the Battle Pass and a slew of new skins, like the Dokiwatch magical girl cosmetics centered around the Mythic Heart of Hope Juno.
To celebrate the update,Overwatch 2has given fans a way to get some free in-game items without much work. Players can earn five free loot boxes via a new Discord Quest that is available now until April 29. To complete the quest, simply accept it on the Discover tab in Discord, then log intoOverwatch 2and play for 15 minutes. This time does not need to be in a match – simply idling on the menu or Hero Gallery grants progress as well. Once complete, return to Discord, claim the rewards code, and enter it into the Battle.net launcher toget the Loot Boxes inOverwatch 2.
While they are at it, players actually still have a couple of days tocomplete the previousOverwatch 2Discord quest. By watching a short, one-minute trailer for theOverwatch 2Mid-Season 15 update before April 24, fans can get the Frozen Seer Lifeweaver skin for free as well.
If that wasn’t enough free stuff, players can also get theIce Princess Symmetra Legendary skin inOverwatch 2as a Twitch Dropby watching nine hours of any streamer before May 7. Between this, the upcomingGundam WingxOverwatch 2collaboration, and rewards from the season-long Stadium: Initiation event, players have plenty of free in-game items coming their way in Season 16.
