Summary

APokemonfan has recently devised a new Mega Evolution for Eelektross, an eel-inspired Electric-type critter. This fan art is the latest work of a prolific fan who often engages with thePokemoncommunity by showing the amazing works that they create.

Eelektross was originally introduced inthe fifth generation ofPokemongames. It’s the final evolution of Tynamo, which can evolve into Eelektrik starting at Level 39. After that, Eelektrik can finally become Eelektross by being exposed to a Thunder Stone. Eelektross has access to powerful Electric-type moves such as Discharge and Wild Charge, as well as a few Poison and Normal-type moves, which can be useful in combat.

Now, a prolificPokemonfan artist called El-psy-congroo-01 has shared a Mega Evolution of Eelektross with the community. The new design uses similar colors, but adds some light blue scales. Mega Eelektross also stands out due to having bigger claws and being bipedal with a much more pronounced mouth than its original counterpart, as well as a fiercer appearance. El-psy-congroo-01’s post was quite successful, with multiple fans complimenting how good the new take on the popular creature looked.

Pokemon Fan’s Amazing Mega Eelektross Art

This is not the first time that El-psy-congroo-01 has created an amazing Mega Evolution of a beloved critter and shared it with the community, as the fan has done so many times in the past. One recent example of this is thecouple of Mega Gastrodons created by the artist, which reimagined both the West and East Sea versions of the creature.

There are many recent examples of amazing fan art depicting Mega Evolutions created by other artists, too. For example, one fan recently created aMega Evolution for Arbok, which depicted the purple snake-inspired critter as a huge monstrosity with two mouths and scales that looked like huge eyes popping out of its chest, achieving quite a successful reception with the fanbase.

Last month, yet another fan devisedMega Evolutions for thePokemon Legends: Z-Astarters, coming up with unique buffed versions of Feraligatr, Emboar, and Meganium. While most of these critters were still easy to recognize, Mega Emboar was pretty unique, as it only used the overall shape of the creature, turning it into a big black monster with enormous flames around it. Hopefully, other fans will continue to come up with amazing designs and share them with the community ahead of the launch of the eagerly awaitedPokemon Legends: Z-A.
