There are some White Nevrons found in random locations onThe Continent inClair Obscur: Expedition 33, like Portier. They’re harmless creatures that you can help to gain some sort of reward. Players might find some that have a cryptic request, and they simply need to explore the area until they discover what they’re looking for.
How To Complete The ??? Orb Quest In Expedition 33
Right next to Old Lumiere isa small snowy area called Esoteric Ruins, which iswhere players will find a strange ??? Orb inClair Obscur: Expedition 33. Speak with the Orb to discover that it doesn’t know what it is and is just wandering around aimlessly. When you suggest that it’s a Nevron or a Spirit, the strange ball doesn’t know what either term means. The ??? Orb tells you that it’s yearning for something to protect its fragile core and would appreciate the help.
As players progress further inside the Esoteric Ruins, they will encounter a Paint Cages as well asa maze puzzle inClair Obscur: Expedition 33. You must solve the puzzle if you wish to complete the Orb’s quest. Once the puzzle is solved, proceed further to find an item just ahead called theWood Boards.
As the door through which you came in is now closed, use the grapple hook above to return to the Orb’s location. Speak with it and give it the Wood Boards tocomplete the quest inExpedition 33. The ??? Orb transforms into a Nevron known as Portier.
Portier will thank players and give them theProtecting HealPictos inClair Obscur: Expedition 33. After that, players will get a chance to either kill Portier or leave without hurting the Nevron.
Should You Attack Portier In Expedition 33
It’s best if players don’t attack Portier inClair Obscur: Expedition 33. Killing the White Nevronmight lock you out of a rewardyou will get later on. So, if players are interested in obtaining this reward, try to leave Portier alive. If you choose to fight the Portier, you will get threeColour of Luminaand aPolished Chroma Catalyst.
