InRevenge of the Savage Planet, you won’t just collect resources for later, like upgrading gear or crafting items; you’ll also use them directly to clear out swarms of alien creatures around you. Luckily, most of these materials can be found on almost every planet with a bit of searching. Some, like the Ferro Dispenser, are only native to orbits beyond Stellaris Prime, so you’ll be able to snag those once you get there.

All Scannable Resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet

There are27 resourcesinRevenge of the Savage Planetthat you’ll need to scan to add them to your Kindex. Once done, you can easily check back on them anytime. This comes in handy if you forget what a certain resource looks like when you need it for crafting weapons, stabilizers, or other gear.

Ferro Dispenser

It’s filled with purple goo. Just equip the Goo Ingestor tool to extract the material from it.

Complete missions—especially “May the Fork Be With You”—and zap enemies with electricity.

Goo Dispenser

Grab the Goo Ingestor to harvest green goo from this plant.

Blight Bomb Plant

It’s a green plant that will give you the Blight Bomb recipe.

Bombegranate Plant

They look like glowing mushrooms—shoot them and watch them explode. You can also grab the pieces and throw them at creatures.

Kill nearby creatures and craft Bombegrante.

Snag it in your hand and launch it at aliens.

Ferro Bush

Toss it at dangerous animals to give them an electric shock.

Metallic Chunk

Pick it up using the Magnetic Fork and aim at the enemy.

Use it to damage enemies—it’s super useful for the Wormzilla fight and smashing metallic walls.

Volcano Plant

Engage with the plant to spill lava.

It can be used during fights to help defeat native creatures.

Aluminum

Aluminum can be grabbed by busting open Aluminum rocks (press the F key) or by popping Aluminum Veins stuck to mountains. Both are green-colored and pretty easy to spot. Plus, you can grab these by taking out creatures as well.

Create Griff and Splunker ‘Pacifier’ Pistol and Power Hose.

Carbon

Take out Brainards, smash blue rocks or Carbon Veins (these are the blue ore-looking things).

Craft items like Zoot Jump Thruster and Power Hose.

Silicon

To get Silicon, hit those shiny yellow rocks or Silicon Veins on the ground or mountains, then collect the sparkly bits that drop. you’re able to also kill Raccocco to snag these.

Grob ‘Bait’ Dispenser

Grob ‘Bait’ Dispensers are usually found in creature-filled areas. They look like spray cans—just press the X key to grab some bait.

Orange Goo

Randomly grows out of the land; just press the ‘E’ or ‘F’ key to eat all the goo from this plant.

Increases your health and stamina.

Printer Slurry

It’s a liquid used for printing items. To get it, you’ll need to crack open its container by pressing the F key, then tap E to collect the Printer Slurry inside. These containers are found on each planet, usually hidden in spots like hilltops, tall plants, underwater areas, or inside jelly-like substances.

Aluminum Vein

Naturally, these are attached to mountains. You can either shoot them from the ground or jump and press the ‘E’ key to break them open, then collect the remains.

Carbon Vein

Target the vein growing from the hill or mushrooms using your ranged pistol, or jump and hit it instead. After that, pick up the shiny balls.

Alta Coupon Crate

Press the F or X key to open these crates.

Gives you Alta Bucks (in-game money) to complete the Alta Bucks for Alta People achievement.

Like all Ore Veins, this one can also be found on high platforms. Destroy it using your weapon, or jump and press ‘E’. Once it’s broken, gather the pieces.

Get the recipe by coming into contact with the Blight Bomb plant, then craft it at the 3D Printer.

Clear quests and finish creatures.

It’s an explosive. To get it, you’ll need to unlock its recipe by checking out the Bombegranate Plant the first time you see it, then print it using the 3D Printer.

Finish a few missions and clear out swarms of creatures along the way.
