The game includes several different forms of endgame challenges, includingMemory of Chaos as a gauntlet of powerful enemiesand Pure Fiction focusing heavily around how fast players can clear waves of opponents. Now, a brand-new type of enemy may be coming soon.

WhileHonkai: Star Railfeatures several different forms of endgame content, the RPG’s overworld has noticeably lacked powerful overworld enemies. Many ofStar Rail’s strongest enemies are locked behind the various endgame modes, limited to the highest floors of each challenge. HoYoverse has introduced some powered-up enemies through the Apocalyptic Shadow game mode, though they are limited to the game’s pre-existing Weekly Bosses. However, a new update may indicate some powerful overworld foes are on the way.
