The report claims that Felton has theblessing of author JK Rowlingand will be the original cast member involved in the new production. However, Felton is not expected to take on an on-screen role as HBO is looking to distance itself from the movie series.

That will be based on the original story,Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, with the entire season being dedicated to it, despite it being the smallest of the books.
