Summary
Schedule 1players will soon be able to vote between three different options for the game’s first major content update, developer TVGS has revealed. During a recent live stream, the sole developer ofSchedule 1, Tyler, announced that he will soon be publishing a new poll to see which piece of content players want to see first: police raids, cartel wars, or shrooms.
Since its early access launch last month,Schedule 1has already received multiple updates. While the smash hit indie title is still yet to receive its first “major” content update, there have been a heap of improvements, bug fixes, and smaller pieces of content added to the game in recent weeks. The most recent patch was released over the Easter weekend, bringing the game to version 0.3.4f8 with numerous bug fixes and a new feature that allows players to access the inventory of employees by interacting with them. With multiple updates having been released already, it looks like Tyler is ready to move on toSchedule 1’s first major content patch.
Schedule 1 Players Will Be Able to Vote on First Major Update
During a recent live stream, Tyler briefly touched upon the game’s first major content update, revealing that it will consist of one of three options: police raids, cartel wars, or shrooms— a new drug type. The solo developer said he will soon be publishing a poll that will allow fans to choose between the three options. Unfortunately, it’s unknown how long it will take Tyler to develop the update. WhileSchedule 1has been a huge success, the indie game is still being worked on by just one individual, which means it could take some time to see major pieces of content added to the game.
Tyler clearly has big plans for the future of the smash hit crime game, as he also recently teased abig map expansion forSchedule 1. During the same live stream, the game’s creator explained what the new areas could look like. Alongside some new fancy houses on top of a cliffside, Tyler also intends to create a “swampy, slummy area” not far from the docks warehouse. He then said that once these two locations are complete, he will begin working on a new island off the coast of the current map.
If map expansions, police raids, cartel wars, and new drug types weren’t already enough, Tyler also recently confirmed ahighly requested feature for a futureSchedule 1update. Ever since the game’s launch last month, players have been requesting that employee beds be replaced with lockers. It looks like Tyler has heard the requests loud and clear as the change was recently added to the game’s official Trello board, but an exact release date for the feature is currently unknown.
